The Two Towers is the second volume of J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings, and shows the separated members of the Fellowship of the Ring continuing on in their effort to defeat the Dark Lord Sauron and bring peace to Middle-Earth. While the wizard Gandalf, the Ranger Aragorn, the Wood-Elf Legolas and the Dwarf Gimli rally the forces of the Kingdom of Rohan, the hobbits Frodo and Sam continue to search for a way into the dark empire of Mordor.
