Introduction to The Garden Party

The Garden Party and Other Stories is a collection of short stories by Katherine Mansfield. Mansfield was a modernist writer and a contemporary of the likes of Virginia Woolf and D.H. Lawrence. The collection is comprised of a number of stories influenced both by her upbringing in New Zealand and her education and life in London and the French Riviera.
