Introduction to Pilgrim's Progress

The Pilgrim's Progress is a religious allegory written by the Puritan preacher and religious dissenter John Bunyan and published in 1678 (Part I) and 1682 (Part II). The book has become a classic of English literature, has been translated into hundreds of languages, and has never been out of print.

The first book follows an everyman protagonist, Christian, on his eventful journey along the King's highway.
