Pioneering hospitality urban farming for a sustainable future

The Bellevue Manila has officially solidified a groundbreaking partnership with the City Government of Muntinlupa and the Department of Agriculture Extension Services Office (DA-ESO) to spearhead sustainability initiatives.

The Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing took place at the Tower Wing Ballroom of The Bellevue Manila on September 20.

In line with its sustainable initiatives, The Bellevue Manila’s rooftop garden is an embodiment of a farm-to-table concept aimed at redefining sustainable dining. Situated above the bustling city, this thriving garden not only adds to the hotel’s scenic charm but also plays a pivotal role in supplying fresh, organic produce directly to its restaurants.

The carefully nurtured crops make a swift and direct transition from garden to kitchen, allowing guests to relish dishes crafted from the day’s harvest. This culinary innovation underscores The Bellevue Manila’s dedication to reducing its carbon footprint, supporting local agriculture, and offering a delectable, eco-conscious dining experience.
