MANILA, Philippines — The frogfish found in Dauin, Negros Oriental will make an appearance in the upcoming episode of BBC Earth's "Planet Earth III," presented by British broadcaster and biologist Sir David Attenborough.
"Planet Earth III" is debuting on BBC Earth in Asia, nearly two decades since the documentary series first began.

The frogfish of Dauin is the subject of the show's second episode as "Planet Earth III" explores other locations in Asia and the amazing animal species that call them home.
These include the Oriental Pied Hornbill of Borneo's Gomantong and Sukau, the Archer Fish of Indonesia's Raja Ampat, and a trip to one of the world’s largest natural caves, Hang Son Doong in Vietnam.
Other locations to be featured on the show — which took five years to film — are The Maldives, Mongolia's part of the Gobi Desert, Sri Lanka's Yala National Park, Pakistan's Sukkur Region and India's West Bengal.
The last of eight episodes will feature dedicated "heroes" who put their lives on the line to protect wildlife and critically important ecosystems.
